Tropica 1-2 Grow! – Marsilea hirsuta
Tropica 1-2 Grow! Marsilea hirsuta is a versatile and beginner-friendly carpeting plant that adapts beautifully to a wide range of aquarium conditions. Originating from Australia, this hardy plant is well known for its ability to change leaf shape depending on light and nutrient availability.
When grown under high light and CO₂ injection, Marsilea hirsuta forms a low, dense carpet with small clover-like leaves. In lower light conditions, the leaves grow taller and more upright, making it suitable not only as a foreground plant but also for midground use.
Grown in Tropica’s sterile 1-2 Grow! tissue culture, this plant is completely free from algae, snails, and pests—making it ideal for shrimp tanks and sensitive aquascapes.
