Shipping Policy

 

WINTER SHIPPING IS NOW IN EFFECT

 

As overnight temperatures are starting to drop below freezing in some areas of Canada, we will now switch over to our Winter Shipping system. Please ensure to select Express shipping when possible as it not only includes a heat pack when needed, but is full guaranteed! 

We will not issue any credits for DOAs placed using basic/ground shipments. "I did not know" is not an acceptable excuse. Please read all of our policies before placing an order. 

 

Shipping Days

 

We typically ship Mondays and Wednesdays each week as it allows time for your order to arrive before the weekend. Any orders placed from Wednesday to Sunday will be shipped the following Monday. Please see the processing times below. 

Please note that no deliveries are made on weekends because we use couriers. 

 

Processing TImes

 

Processing time is the amount of time we require to prepare your order for delivery. It can take up to 3 days and DOES NOT include the delivery time. Please note that delivery times based on your shipping option does not include processing times.

 

For example, if you selected Express shipping (1-2 business days), that means your order can take up to 5 business days to arrive from the time of ordering, as we have to add the 3 business days for processing time.

(3 business day processing time + 1-2 business days transit).

 

 

Shipping Options

 

We offer two types of shipping, Standard and Express. Please review below and select the one best for you.

 

Standard Shipping - Ground shipping - may take up to 5+ business days to arrive, does not qualify for our Live Arrival Guarantee

 

Ontario/Quebec - usually 1-2 business days after courier receives the package

Manitoba/Maritimes - usually 2-4 business days after courier receives the package

 

Alberta, British Columbia - usually 5-7 business days after courier receives the package.

 

 

Express Shipping - Ground/Air Shipping - takes 1-2 days to arrive, qualifies for Live Arrival Guarantee and includes Ice/Heat packs if needed. 

 

Ontario/Quebec - usually next business days after courier receives the package

Manitoba/Maritimes - usually 1-3 business days after courier receives the package

 

Alberta, British Columbia - usually 1-3 business days after courier receives the package.

 

 

Couriers

 

 

We ship using UPS, FedEX and Purolator. We do not use Canada Post and therefore we DO NOT ship to PO BOX address. No exceptions. 

 

Refund policy for shipping

 

Please note, shipping is NOT refundable under any circumstances. Live arrival guarantee ONLY credits the value of the plant/animal. Please understand this before purchasing.

Address Accuracy

 

We will ship all orders to the addresses as they are submitted on the order. We are not responsible for missed deliveries due to incorrect addresses or contact information.
