Rotala rotundifolia ‘Singapore Blood Red’ – Tissue Culture
Bring bold colour to your aquarium with Rotala rotundifolia ‘Singapore Blood Red’, a striking stem plant prized for its rich crimson foliage. Its slender submerged leaves create a beautiful contrast against green plants, making it an excellent choice for colourful background groups and eye-catching accents.
Under strong lighting, with consistent nutrients and CO₂ supplementation, this variety develops its most intense red colouration. Regular trimming encourages branching, helping create lush, bushy groups that add depth to your aquascape.

Tissue Culture Benefits
Laboratory-grown tissue culture provides a clean start without introducing snails or other unwanted hitchhikers.
Planting Instructions: Remove the plants from the cup and gently rinse away the growing medium. Separate into individual stems or small portions and plant a few centimetres apart, leaving space for light to reach the lower leaves. Trim established stems to encourage branching and replant healthy tops for a fuller display.
Sold as one tissue culture cup. Plant size, quantity, leaf shape, and colour may vary. Young tissue culture plants may appear greener with rounder leaves, developing narrow foliage and deeper red tones as they adapt to submerged aquarium conditions.
