Ludwigia sphaerocarpa – Tissue Culture
Add warm colour and distinctive texture to your aquascape with Ludwigia sphaerocarpa, an unusual stem plant prized for its compact, densely clustered growth. Under strong lighting, its foliage can develop beautiful copper, orange, and reddish tones, creating an eye-catching contrast against green plants.
Its closely spaced leaves create a rosette-like appearance, making it an excellent accent for the foreground or midground. With suitable lighting, consistent nutrients, and CO₂ supplementation, it develops attractive crowns that bring depth and detail to planted layouts.

Tissue Culture Benefits
Laboratory-grown tissue culture provides a clean start without introducing snails or other unwanted hitchhikers.
Planting Instructions: Remove the plants from the cup and gently rinse away the growing medium. Separate into individual rooted plantlets or small portions, then plant with tweezers, leaving space between each portion for light and growth. Avoid burying the leaves.
Sold as one tissue culture cup. Plant size, quantity, and colour may vary. Young plants may appear greener, with warmer tones and a more compact form developing under suitable aquarium conditions.
