Aponogeton longiplumulosus is an eye-catching bulb plant known for its long, narrow leaves with strongly rippled, wavy edges. Its elegant, flowing growth adds height, texture, and movement to planted aquariums, making it an excellent centerpiece or background plant for medium to large tanks.
This species grows from a tuber and develops long arching leaves that can become quite substantial under good conditions. It prefers a nutrient-rich substrate, moderate lighting, and stable water parameters. CO₂ is not required, but supplementation can promote faster and fuller growth.
Like many Aponogeton species, it may occasionally enter a natural dormant period where growth slows and older leaves die back. With proper care, the plant will usually resume growth afterward.
