Yoyo Pakistani Loach
Botia almorhae (also known as Yoyo Loach)
The Yoyo Pakistani Loach is an energetic and uniquely patterned freshwater loach that’s both a functional bottom-feeder and a captivating display fish. Its bold, interwoven black and silver markings—often forming a “YOYO” pattern—combined with its curious and playful behavior make it a favorite among aquarists.
Despite the name, the "Pakistani Loach" is native to the northern river systems of India and Nepal, not Pakistan—though the name has stuck in the aquarium trade.
