Giant Willow Moss (Fontinalis antipyretica)
Giant Willow Moss is a beautiful freshwater moss known for its flowing, branch-like growth and rich green coloration. Unlike many compact moss species, Giant Willow Moss develops longer fronds that create a natural, cascading appearance when attached to driftwood, rocks, or aquarium décor.
This versatile moss is easy to grow and adapts well to a wide range of aquarium conditions. Its dense structure provides excellent cover for shrimp, fry, and other small aquatic inhabitants while helping create a mature, natural aquascape.
Giant Willow Moss grows best in cooler to moderate temperatures and can be used as a foreground accent, midground feature, or attached to hardscape to create a lush, forest-like effect.
