Ember Tetra (Hyphessobrycon amandae)
The Ember Tetra brings a warm orange glow to a planted aquarium. Small, peaceful, and especially striking in a group, these fish stand out against green plants and a dark substrate.
Ember Tetras do best in a mature aquarium with plant cover, gentle flow, and stable water conditions. Keep at least 8–10 together so they feel secure and show their natural schooling behaviour. They are well suited to a community of other small, peaceful fish.
Offer tiny foods such as crushed flakes or micro pellets, along with small frozen or live foods like baby brine shrimp and daphnia.
